Thanks to Open Source Content Management Systems, it’s now easy and affordable to create Database Driven Websites.
For creation of Database Driven Websites I use Wordpress or Joomla.
Both of these are Open Source and they both use Databases, both are secure and accessible online, from any computer, anywhere in the world (as long as you have the login information handy).
How it works?
If you have a website already but would like to give it a new look and make it Database Driven and more search friendly:
- I can either design a bespoke template based on Wordpress or Joomla (depending on your needs and the size of the website) and then transfer your current content into the new Database Driven Website (more expensive option)
- Or we can choose a template together and I’ll customize it for you to match your brand and logo etc and then show you how to update the content on the website (takes few minutes to understand, it’s almost as easy as writing documents in Word) (that’s the more affordable option)
If you don’t have a website yet, that’s even better! You can start fresh, the options don’t really change, apart from the fact that you will need to provide me with the wording and the photos to be used on your website, we can create a plan (sitemap) of the website together, to emphasize the elements you want to stand out and drive visitors attention etc.
